A body of work

Hello Hair Honey's,

I want to share something about myself with you.  For years, I've been working my tail off creating a successful hair company, but very few people know me for being a tailor.  I started sewing when I was very young, almost too little to sit on the chair and touch the machine paddle with my foot.  When I was in high school and college if you touched you would cut yourself.  Yes, I was that sharp!  I dressed my mother and my bestie the same way.  I made clothes for many women and men and they were lost when I moved west.  I wanted to continue making clothes, but the west coast doesn't appreciate fashion like the east coast.  I'm an amazing hair stylist, but tailoring is my passion.  It laid dormant for years while I built my hair business, but the beast has awoken and it's time to unleash her fury!  I have many talents and I've decided to use them all!  I'm currently working on my first line of clothing, most women today don't want because of the glamor and the cost, but I'm the kind of girl that will put on full hair and make-up, and a ball gown to pick up the mail.  I want to wear elegant fashion again.  I know, I know, times have changed and everyone wants to be comfortable in their jeans and tees, but I'm over it.  I'm tired of wearing yoga and sweat pants.  I want to see women in couture dresses and sportswear, suits (pants and skirts), blouses, and who said couture isn't comfortable?  We're comfortable when wearing yoga pants and I wear them too, but they're not meant to our daily uniform.  Now don't get me wrong, I don't agree with the lawmakers in the state of Montana, but I do agree with Claude Montana, Bill Blass, and Karl Lagerfeld.  I want to turn heads when I walk by because my outfit is spectacular!  I want people to ask me where I purchased it, and see the look on their faces when I tell them that I designed it, made it and that it's being sold in Norstrom.  So keep your eyes open for my new line and the opening event. I will keep you posted.

Until next time, may God keep you.
